The 26 Street Hostel is run by travellers for travellers. This is a clean and tidy place to stay in Anchorage with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. This is a 100% safe house. WE PROVIDE KEY AND LOCK FOR THE LOCKERS TO EACHONE IN EACH DORM-ROOM (10 $ DIS TAKEN BY DEPOSIT).

The hostel is run by a traveler young couple(Marcela & Sebastian) and a one year old baby girl (Florencia). IT'S THE PERFECT SPOT TO STAY AND FEEL SAFE LIKE HOME FOR SINGLES FEMALES ( Female room).
It's a goog place to collect information about Alaska or with us or with the other travelers, we have travelled and riden bikes( 1200 miles in Alaska) a lot in this beautiful Land but always remeber that you are an independient traveler 'Draw your way and leave your own foot print'

We are a hostel for backpackers, travellers, bikers, climbers, trekkers and everyone who lives the adventure from inside and the simple life , knowing that a HOSTEL isn't a HOTEL . We offer to the travelers a comfortable bed, a very clean house , a realy good braekfast not a couple of pankakes($7 plus if you have it anywhere), free internet because we know what means it for the comunications when you are far away from home($4 plus anywhere) and NOW ONE FREE !!!!! LAUNDRY PER PERSON if you spend 2 or more nights and the best atmosphere to go on moving around Alaska.

NOW IF YOU BRING YOUR LAPTOT WE HAVE (WI FI)WIRELESS NETWORKS SYSTEM TOO.
For that people who want to share their experiences with the others and not only looking for a cheap bed to crash.

We are located halfway between the international airport and downtown Anchorage in the Spenard Neighborhood. This neighborhood is known for its vibrant nightlife.

We are just a few minutes walk to a 24 hours supermarket and the Coastal Trail, an unrivalled system of bike trails criss-crossing the entire city of Anchorage.

The hostel features six dorm rooms and two private rooms. There are also three bathrooms, a large kitchen and t.v room , a cozy small D.V.D room in the basement and a beautiful green garden with a huge BBQ area and plenty of couchs spread on the back yard to enjoy the BLESS of the Alaskan summer. A nice recreational area with basketball game, babignton field, weight for working out, push up & rowing machine

A continental breakfast is provided for guests and there is free Internet access. There are on-site coin operated washers and driers. All rooms have full carpet and are very roomy, big lockers and padlocks are provided for free.
Definitly after having stayed travelling around the world during 10 years this is an amazing place to stay ,of course one of the best places in the city.

NOTE: Double room has one king size bed.
Tax only for double room. You must add 8% to the price of it. The final price would be 65$.

THE WINTER IS A GOOD TIME TO MEET LOCAL FOLKS BUT KEEPING A FRIENDLY ENVIROMENT AS WELL AS GO FOR A COLD WALK TO THE COSTAL TRAIL, SKATE ON THE FROZEN WEINCHSTER LAGOON ( 4 BLOCKS FROM HERE), WACTH THE BEAUTIFUL NORTHEM LIGHTS IF YOU HAVE LUCK AND ENJOY THE WINTER ATMOSPHERE OF THE NICE BARS NEARBY!!!!
